My husband John didn't want me to write this.
He begged me not to let the secret out. He said it would ruin his reputation.
You see, John likes to act like he's "Mr. Environment".
Whenever people congratulate us for our solar powered home, John's quick to get on his soapbox and talk about how important it is to conserve our resources.
But the truth is, John's not even half as passionate as I am.
"In Fact… Just The Other
Day, He Littered!"
And that's just the beginning.
The fact of the matter is, he had no interest at all in converting our home at first. He thought I was going through a "phase", and that it'd cost us tens of thousands of dollars to get everything switched over.
But when our electricity bills were doubling and tripling, he started to get nervous.

You see, I ran into our neighbor Jodi at the grocery store. She's always been into green living and owns a solar powered home, so I asked for her advice. I wanted to convince John to go solar.
